要形容一個真象,我們需要許多的物象。物象在現象界是被分割的、每一個物象本身並無真實性。「恆」就是含有所有物象,來保持代表真象的整體性。因此,恆名是有整體性的概念來聯接所有的「名」,恢復整體性。有整體性的現象,才能是真實或永恆的。所以,凡是冠上「恆」的名,例如恆名、恆道、恆無、恆有等是整體的,才具有真實性。在「有、無」二元論中,恆是包含「有」和「無」。
We need many objects to describe a reality. The objects are divided and are not authentic or real because they are not whole. Heng consists all objects into a whole and restores the wholeness to represent a reality. Therefore, “Heng Name 恆名” is a holistic concept, associating all names and becomes a name with wholeness and can represent truthfulness or reality.
Therefore, names associated with Heng, such as Heng Name 恆名, e.g. Heng Tao, Heng Wu, and Heng Yu, are holistic and truthful. In dualism of Yu and Wu, Heng contains Yu and Wu. Heng is replaced by Constant 常 in traditional Taoism. We translate Heng as Truthful.
